Meet Donavan Moore / Master Tattoo Artist

Donavan, a distinguished tattoo artist from Winnipeg, has a rich and eclectic background. His journey began in the vibrant city of Winnipeg, affectionately known as "Winter Peg," where he pursued his education at the University of Winnipeg. A gifted athlete, Donavan excelled in volleyball, reaching national levels. His adventurous spirit led him to California, where he embraced the beach volleyball scene.

With a passion for black-and-grey realism, Donavan honed his skills and mastered his craft, tattooing thousands of happy clients around the globe. He possesses an extraordinary talent showcasing masterful design and inkwork embodied in all his artwork. His tattooing experience spans across various locations and a diverse clientele, adding depth and versatility to his art.

Moving westward with his family, Donavan established a strong presence in Calgary, operating a successful studio for eight years. Since 2014, he has found his home in Kelowna, initially working in various shops before opening his own studio in 2017. His passion for motorbiking extends to his art, as he skillfully airbrushes helmets and bikes, including a current project featuring the Rolling Stones portrayed on a giant canvas.

Donavan's approach to tattooing is deeply personal and collaborative. He values the stories and inspirations behind each tattoo, believing that they carry narratives akin to scars. His expertise in kinesiology informs his technique, ensuring that the tattoo's design harmonizes with the body's contours. Specializing in detailed realism, Donavan's artistry defies a single style.
